Pre-sessional for Masters and BA
Introduction
These courses are for students who are about to begin their
academic programme. The course will equip the students with essential skills and knowledge and provide you with a foundation of academic methodology which will help to maximize the value of your degree. You will refine your existing knowledge of English to include business related language, and also learn to follow specific academic techniques that will help you to adapt to the UK system of study.
This Course is suitable for:
- Students with conditional offer at Kingston College of London falling short of the required level of English for their academic course.
- Students with unconditional offer looking to develop their study skills before they begin their academic study at Kingston College of London.
- Students who are not required to study these courses can do so in order to even better prepare themselves for their future studies.
- Prospective BA students with english level less than between B1and B2 (CEFR Level) and Prospective MBA students with english level less than B2 (CEFR Level). For more information on CEFR.
Notes: Students from other streams and subjects can also join the pre-sessional course.
Course structure and syllabus
The pre-session curriculum comprises modules that have been developed specifically to prepare students for their degrees. The course is intense and it is intended develop students’ confidence and competence in using English in an academic environment in addition to encourage independent learning.
