Professional Graduate Diploma in IT leading to
Masters of Science in IT / Computer Science
The course consists of one year Professional Graduate Diploma programme leading to MSc in IT/Computer Science. The course is designed to respond to the demands of a wide range of organisations for qualified IT professionals to advice on all stages of information systems design, development and usage. The programme prepares students for the intellectual, analytical and practical challenges that arise in the field of IT career. They will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to specify, design and build within a range of professional contexts.

Unit 1 Advance Database Management Systems
Unit 2 Management Information Systems
Unit 3 Software Engineering 2
Unit 4 Computer Services Management
Unit 5 Professional Project
Duration: 2 years
After completing the Professional Graduate Diploma in IT (One Year Programme) at KCOL, students are eligible for direct entry into MSc in IT / Computing at various UK Universities subject to University approval. Here are some of the Universities that will accept the students for MSc programme after the completion of the PGDIT.

Entry Requirements:
Applicants must have attained one of the following entry qualifications:
- BCS Diploma in IT.
- Other recognised qualifications of approved overseas Institutions of Higher Education.
- Relevant commercial experience if available
- IELTS 6 minimum
- Students should be minimum 18 years of age
