BCS Diploma in IT

Introduction

This Diploma in IT level (incorporating Diploma Project) of BCS Professional Examinations is the academic equivalent to Year 2 of a UK university honours degree and is recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) as Level 5. . This course is design   to understand the context - ethical, social legal, financial and organisational - in which professional information Systems Practitioner work. The objective of course is Understand and calculates, in simple cases, the basic information needed for day-to-day financial management.

Course Covers:

Unit 1 Professional Issues in IS Practice
Unit 2 Database Systems
Unit 3 IT Project Management
Unit 4 Systems Analysis
Unit 5 Professional Project

Fees: GBP 3650

Entry Requirements:

  • Successful completion of Certificate in Information Technology from BCS or any another British awarding bodies.
  • Candidates typically educated to UK GCE A-level standard or equivalent.
  • Minimum IELTS 5.5

Course Duration:

12 Months - Approximately 21 hours taught class time per week.
