BCS Certificate in Information Technology
Introduction
The foundation level of BCS Professional Examinations is the academic equivalent to Year 1 of a UK university honours degree and is recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) as Level 4.
This certificate introduces various techniques used within systems analysis and design. It also introduces basics on database management systems.
To maximize your potential for lifetime employability, it is essential you maintain a high level of professional competence by continually upgrading your skills and knowledge. This course is open your awareness of systems development tools and techniques.

Entry Requirements:
- No formal entry restrictions.
- Candidates typically educated to a UK GCE A-level standard or equivalent.

12 Months - Approximately 21 hours taught class time per week.
